Prevail: 1999 - 2011
During its tenuous 12 years the death metal band Prevail, out of the California East Bay, started as a five piece band and eventually became one. The majority of the material, musical, lyrical and artistic-content is by Danny Injured. Andrew LaBarre, from Impaled (2002), and Nick Anthony also wrote a lot of the music, orchestrating and embellishing Injured's material into metal-precision. LaBarre produced and recorded the majority of the material. The vocalist Luke Jordan wrote the entirety of the "two old ladies" album's lyrics. It is with great honor to have had any involvement in the band, creating a large selection of the band's published and unpublished artwork throughout the years, performing live for a handful of shows, and of course co-writing and recording the album "Death Rock for Children." I am equally grateful to be given permission to reproduce the band's catalog here. This page will be a work in progress as I will be adding more content as I aquire it... Cheers!      - jtc 2019
